Sea of Thieves Adds Borderlands-Inspired Ship Skin
Borderlands seems like an unusual pick for a Sea of Thieves crossover, but Rare has done a good job adding content that seems natural to the game world. Sea of Thieves adds a ship skin inspired by Borderlands, and any fan will see how the inspiration is clear, without making it seem out of place, which undoubtedly shows the great work that Rare does. Maybe this opens the door to other similar crossovers in the future.

Of course, this summer we’ve also seen Sea of Thieves content based on the Disney Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. And while the Mayhem event is a limited-time option, the content based on Pirates of the Caribbean is still available for those who haven’t played it yet.
