Boss of the year! The owner of a construction machinery sales, rental and repair company in Paraguay saved for 12 months to take all his employees on vacation.
His only intention was to thank the effort made by each of his collaborators, but his story went viral on social networks, making him gain followers, customers and thousands of requests from those who want to join his company to receive the same benefits.
Sebastián Sánchez, owner of the firm SE Máquina, in Paraguay, wanted to thank the efforts of each of his employees, because he knows that without them, his company would not be the same. In addition, due to the economic situation, his employees preferred to work and generate extra income instead of taking their vacations. Something that did not seem appropriate, because we all deserve a break. That’s why he saved an entire year to take his workers to the beach and thank them for his help.
Said vacations were shared on the company’s Facebook page, where employees are seen enjoying the beach and accompanied by the message “if you are tired, learn to rest, not to give up.” The publication went viral in a couple of days, causing the company to add followers, customers and hundreds of requests from those who now seek to join their ranks to receive the same benefits.
For his part, Sánchez recognizes that without the work of his employees, his company would not be what it is now, which is why he sought a way to repay them for everything they have helped him achieve.
Whenever they were given their vacations, they preferred to work to earn an additional and they did not rest, they did not travel, they did not spend that time with their families. We are barely administrators of what they produce.
It is worth mentioning that all the staff attended the vacation, they stayed in a five-star hotel, they all received food and their round-trip tickets were covered. Sánchez says this is the first of many trips they plan to take for their workers and hopes that in the not-too-distant future, it will be able to include their workers’ families.
