Samsung is one of the biggest technology companies in the world, and it continues to constantly improve its flagship products. In this case, they renew their most advanced watches and headphones, with improvements that are worth noting, with more resistance, sensors and more battery.
Galaxy Watch 5: Sapphire glass and more battery
Samsung Watches are updated with new designs and some hardware improvements. The Watch 5 is shown as a more refined and versatile watch, with an armored aluminum frame, which can be used as a sport, but it can also be formalized with a metal or leather strap. It comes in 3 colors: pink, silver and graphite, and two sizes in 40 and 44 mm.
The battery increases from 361 mAh to 410 mAh and fast charging boost to 10W. Among other improvements, account now with Bluetooth 5.2 against 5.0 of Watch4. For the rest, it retains the Exynos W920 (5nm) processor, a Dual Core at 1.18 Ghz Cortex-A55 with Mali G68 GPU, 16 GB of internal memory, and 1.5 GB of RAM. The screen is now protected with sapphire crystal (against the Watch 4’s Gorilla Galls DX+), which makes it much more resistant to scratches (the sapphire can only be scratched by another sapphire, silicon carbide, or a diamond). The technology is still 1.4″ Super AMOLED with 450×450 pixels and 321 ppi.
The sensors are the same as the Watch 4, although the a priori measurement has improved depending on the brand. Among the functions we find the measurement of Heart Rate, blood oxygen (now continuously), ECG and Blood Pressure (these last two are only compatible with Samsung cell phones), and measurement of body fat and muscle mass. For the rest, it has GPS, compass, barometer and altimeter.
