Although we look at the next Galaxy S11, which will be released in about two months, it seems that Samsung still has plans for the Galaxy S10 family, which saw the light at the beginning of the year. Now we have known about the existence of a modest and more powerful variant that will reach 12 GB of RAM and will have some difference in the cameras section.
We are used to the fact that after a few months after the launch of its flagship, Samsung offers new color variants. However, it has been 9 months since the Galaxy S10 was presented, and now we know that Samsung is preparing at least two variants, according to the Chinese certification body Tenaa, which always puts us on the track of new models that are for introducing oneself.
With up to 12 gigabytes of RAM
The mobile in question has been certified with the model number SM-G9730 and was certified in three different RAM and ROM versions. The storage variants reach 256, 512 and 1 TB. The list lists a variant with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB, and a more powerful version with 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The most powerful version currently offered on the Galaxy S10 reaches 512 GB with 8 GB of RAM.
The cameras change
The sheet details other technical data such as a 6.14-inch screen with a resolution of 3,040 x 1,440 pixels, a Snapdragon 855 processor and a 3,400 mAh battery. In addition, we found a slight variation in the triple rear cameras, with a sensor configuration of 16 + 12 + 10 megapixels, the place of the 12 + 16 + 12 megapixels of the Galaxy S10 that we know today. The selfie camera will be 12 megapixels and its memory can be expanded up to 512 GB. Tenna also mentions a fingerprint sensor under the screen and its availability in black and white colors.
The images that accompany this certification report show a device with a clone design to the Galaxy S10, with dimensions and weight that match those of the current model. At the moment we do not know when Samsung plans to publicize this new model or its availability by markets. However, your announcement should be imminent, as usual when a terminal passes through the Chinese certification body.
