Now that the fourth season of stranger things came to an end and that the show’s upcoming fifth season will be its last, as the series returned after a long hiatus and much of the cast has been reminiscing about their time on the show, so David Harborwho plays Jim Hopper, recently admitted that he thought the show would be a disaster when he was filming the first season.
While Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), during a recent interview revealed that his story within Stranger Things began in an unattractive way, since he talked about how much he wanted the role before his debut in the second season:
“I just begged and pleaded with them to give me more material so I can show them something new.”Sink shared, adding that she was 14 at the time and considered too old to play the role, however, she was determined to prove herself, which is why she was ultimately cast after she did a reading of chemistry with Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair):
“It’s such a strange and specific situation that the cast of Stranger Things and I are in because the world knows who our characters are, but we’re still trying to figure out who we are as people. I think being in the industry speeds you up and makes you more mature.” fast. But for the most part, it’s a lot of fun because the cast is going through it all together.”added the actress.
Since the fourth season of Stranger Things focused a lot on Max Mayfieldand fans of the series couldn’t stop praising Sink’s performance, and before the season ended, the Duffer brothers discussed the key role of Max.
“So much of the season is about Max”said matt duffer. “We opened the season with her wrestling with [su dolor] and trying to navigate that, and Max, on the other hand, is also someone who doesn’t open up to people easily. So a lot of what she’s dealing with, she’s fighting internally, she’s shut out a lot of people, which makes it that much harder.”.
“So many bad things have happened in this city that people are starting to question what’s going on here.”added Ross Duffer. “The government has tried to sweep things under the rug, but the mall fire and all that was too big, really, for anyone to ignore. So there’s a growing sense that there’s something wrong with this city and some people even say it’s cursed”.
