Mishustin said “parallel imports” were necessary to ensure certain products could continue to be shipped to Russia.
“This approach will guarantee the shipment of goods to our country … despite the unfriendly actions of foreign politicians,” he said.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce will determine which products can be imported in this way, he added.
Russia, facing its deepest economic crisis in more than two decades due to an unprecedented barrage of Western sanctions over the Ukraine conflict, has proposed a series of measures to prop up its economy.
