I think at this point we can say that Rockstar is the company that generates the most rumors in the video game industryThis is mainly due to the huge periods of time in which it does not announce more than dozens of DLCs for Grand Theft Auto Online. For this reason, we are already used to reports coming out from time to time stating that the company would be making another video game.
In this case, the beginning of this story is not so recent, because we are talking about a report that we were able to learn about during the month of November of last year 2021. It detailed how Rockstar would be developing a remastering of Grand Theft Auto IV for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. This remaster would arrive during the year 2023 according to the report, so we would have to wait a while.
Now we can say that this rumor has picked up steam again, thanks to a Twitter post from a user known as Matheusvictorbr, though needless to say, this post has since been removed. in it just An official image of the Grand Theft Auto IV game could be seen, followed by a GIF declaring “Don’t be long, we’re packing up soon”which may mean that soon we would see something about this remastering.
If it is necessary to make it clear that this is a simple leak, and that as in most cases, it is difficult to know the truthfulness that we have to give, since we have not been able to know its sources and others. What is certain is that the first report came from a much more reliable source, and therefore we can give it more truth, and therefore dream that we are really going to have a remastering of Grand Theft Auto IV.

Beyond this possible veracity of the first source, expectation needs to be tempered, since it would not be the first time that we have been disappointed due to this type of leak. If this leak is real, we will probably see its presentation throughout this year, so we will not have to wait long.
