The futuristic races of Redout are back, because after 34BigThings took a detour to create a space combat game went back to what they do best with Redout II. This sequel has just arrived on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Redout 2 is the most ambitious game for 34BigThings to date, as it seeks to evolve what it proposed with the first Redout but at higher speeds, with more tracks and deeper vehicle customization than before. Redout 2 hit the market this week along with its Deluxe version, which includes the base game and the season pass or Season Pass. The Season Pass includes two DLC packs coming in the future that will include new locations, career events, rewards, and more.
Graphically Redout II looks better than ever and its control has also been tweaked, according to 34BigThings. Unlike other casual racing games, in Redout II you must become an expert driving at super speeds if you want to be victorious, as it has a high difficulty that requires a quick reaction time during the races.
PC gamers will also be able to get the Redout 2 Ultimate Edition, which includes the Deluxe Edition content and a digital download of the R2 soundtrack. The Redout 2 soundtrack is made up of 42 original tracks and 9 licensed songs, offering over three hours of super cool electronic music.
Redout 2 features a single-player campaign and competitive multiplayer modes, offering up to 12-player online matches with crossplay between PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
