A few weeks after it was revealed star wars eclipse, multiple rumors began to emerge assuring that QuanticDream was having problems with the development of the game, and as a consequence, its release would have been delayed until 2027 or more. Well, now its developers have come out to deny all this, although they were very careful with their words.
In statements to PlayStation Life Stylethe public relations agency of QuanticDream denied that the study was having problems recruiting staff, mentioning that its workforce had increased by up to 50% during 2021. Additionally, they mentioned thatand Star Wars Eclipse It doesn’t even have a release window yet, so all these rumors about its delay couldn’t be true.
Apparently, the French study was failing to recruit staff after cases of toxicity were uncovered in 2018 within QuanticDreamand his own David Cage, team manager, was involved. Years laterQuanticDream they won the lawsuit against them but their public image was tarnished and people no longer wanted to work with them. It appears that this was not the case, and in theory, the development of star wars eclipse I would be moving forward consistently.
Publisher’s note: Well, this isn’t necessarily to say that Star Wars Eclipse won’t arrive until 2027. It sounds like the project may have been announced too early, and now Quantic Dream is suffering the consequences. Hopefully at some point this year we will have more news about it.
