Great news for the entire gaming community of PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, is that its developers have revealed a number of exciting updates that players can look forward to in the highly anticipated Version 2.0 update coming soon. next month.
Something that we find quite remarkable is that, in a video presented as part of the company’s ‘Step 4ward’ and 4th anniversary celebrations, PUBG MOBILE announced that, after nearly two years of testing, the new and improved Livik map will be officially released in the update to Version 2.0.
New collaborations with BLACKPINK, EVANGELION, The Great British Teddy Bear Company will also be released with the update, as well as gameplay improvements, Ban Pan 2.0, and more!
The official version of the new and improved Livik map, PUBG MOBILE’s exclusive 2v2 rampage map, will launch with updated themed areas – each with distinct architecture and unique playstyles. The renovated areas include:
- Midtstein – An urban complex with a mixture of buildings interspersed with roads and alleys perfect for encouraging intense close-range combat.
- Bloomster – The wide paths are divided into Blomster with several sections with points of advantage and utility. A newly built soccer field gives the players a good place for outdoor activities.
- Logistics Center – The original Lumbar Yard has been updated with a new Logistics Center. This wide space is populated with lots of cover. Players who are able to move quickly around tight corners will dominate the area.
- iceborg – The new Iceborg rises from a snow-covered plain. A tall church stands solemnly between loosely aligned buildings for a challenging game of hide-and-seek.
On the official map, PUBG MOBILE will also add various paths to traverse Livik, with the introduction of a four-seat, off-road UTV that handles just as well over mountains as it does on narrow urban roads and alleys. Additionally, vehicle ramps will be added for players looking to reach areas inaccessible on foot and acquire exclusive rewards.
Zip lines will also provide fun and fast movement throughout the map. In the official version, XT firearms will be added to Supply Shops in Livik. Some weapons can be upgraded to their XT variants by purchasing XT Upgrade Boxes from the Supply Shop.
