Today a new broadcast Pokémon Presents which was full of announcements for fans of the franchise, and the most important of them was the reveal of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violetwhich are being developed by GameFreak and will arrive on the Nintendo Switch in 2022. In addition to showing off the new starter Pokémon, the trailer confirmed the return of some creatures from previous generations.
The announcement trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet We were able to appreciate some of the scenarios and ecosystems that we will visit in the game, such as prairies, deserts, and beaches that are alive thanks to the Pokémon that inhabit them. It was in these shots that we were able to conform to some of the Pokémon that are back for the ninth generation of the series on Nintendo Switch.

The new starting monsters of Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Scarlet were revealed in today’s Pokémon Present and are called Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. Also, throughout the trailer we could see that some favorites are back like Pikachu, Lucario, Swablu, Psyduck and Seviper. The development of Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Scarlet It is in charge of game freak, who just released Pokémon Legends: Arceus just a month ago. At the moment it is not known if GameFreak will implement some of the changes that came to Pokémon Legends: Arceus in the ninth generation, since Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Scarlet are more similar to this installment than to the traditional ones, at least graphically.
