The reports issued by the ESR Gear shells manufacturer suggest that the Pixel 4a benefit from wireless charging. A real novelty for a mid-range signed by Google, since this one was until now intended for the most expensive models.
Pixel 4a renderings suggest wireless charging and rear fingerprint sensor
The renderings currently found on the ESR Gear manufacturer’s site thus leave little room for doubt. The Pixel 4a should benefit from wireless charging. A technology that was already found on Pixel 4, but not on the Pixel 3a. Consequently, if the device is not the first Google smartphone to benefit from wireless charging, it is nevertheless the first “moderate price” model to benefit from it.
At the same time, the visuals disseminated by ESR make it possible to see the presence of a photosensor at the back housed in a square module. The module in question should, therefore, be much less bulky than that of a Huawei P40 Pro (for example), and for good reason: as expected and unlike Pixel 4, the new smartphone from Google will only benefit from one single back photosensor.
Finally, the renderings of the Pixel 4a’s protective shells reveal the presence of a fingerprint sensor on the back. No revolution on this side, the Pixel 4a is content to take the same formula as that of the Pixel 3a.
According to the latest news, the Pixel 4a should operate using a Snapdragon 730, 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage space. And if the latest rumors are to be believed, the Pixel 4a would be unveiled on July 13 by Google, its marketing being planned for the following month.
