Primarkhere is a clothing and lifestyle firm that knows how to combine trends with (ultra) prices low cost to face the heat wave in style. Although it is not the only firm that follows these premises –Sheinwith a new pop store in the center of Madrid, is sweeping the youth-, the Irish chain enjoys a very good reputation in our country, but now a new competitor has arrived: Pepco. Considered the “Polish Primark”, this chain has arrived in Spain with 51 stores spread across the country.
With garments ranging from 2 euros to 20 euros, according to the newspaper La Información, the chain has assured that it will not raise prices due to inflation. In this way, the objective is to establish itself in our country and open 300 new stores between now and 2027.
Becoming direct competition for firms in the sector such as Primark or Shein, this Polish chain has its stores on the outskirts of large cities, although its goal is to open in urban centers. Presenting collections for women, men, children, home and lifestyle, Pepco Group -the group where Pepco is located- entered more than 4,000 million euros in 2021.
