They are being busy days for Take-Two Interactive. And it is that after the massive video leak and materials from the GTA VI development process, we have now learned that People Can Fly their collaboration with Take-Two ends, which leaves their new game temporarily in limbo. This has been made known by the Polish studio itself, responsible for well-known titles such as Outriders, Bulletstorm or Gears of War: Judgment. Be that as it may, it seems that the company, now without contractual ties with Take-Two, is confident in being able to continue carrying out its Project Daggerwhich had been in development for two years under the auspices of Grand Theft Auto’s parents.
“PCF Group SA (People Can Fly) has informed through this report that on September 23, 2022 it received a letter from Take-Two Interactive to try terminate the development and publication agreement by mutual understanding between the parties. The deal belonged to Project Dagger, new action-adventure IPwhich has been in development for the last two years, under the direction of the New York team of People Can Fly”, explains the official statement from the Polish company that you can see in full just above these lines.
Outriders review: Worldslayer
Throughout the message it is made known that the intention of People Can Fly is to look for a new partner to publish this video game in development or, on the contrary, try to self publish it. Be that as it may, the only thing that is clear at the moment is that the aforementioned Polish company and Take-Two have ended their contractual relations and that both are embarking on a separate path, at least in the short term.
