A new study has shown that Apple products are not as tied to the iPhone as previously thought: many choose other brands before Apple.
In general, users of Apple products tend to acquire, over time, more than one device belonging to the firm. However, despite the popular tendency to think that many fans of the brand have the entire ecosystem of products, the truth is that a new study has made us realize that this is not entirely the case. Although many of the users of the iPhone also acquire some accessories such as the Apple Watch or an iPad for their understanding, the truth is that many do not choose the Mac as their personal computer, and the same happens with many products of the signature.
A study shows that iPhone users are not as loyal to the brand as is often believed
As we mentioned, a market study has recently been carried out by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners and that, according to shared by AppleInsider, has consisted of a survey of 900 US iPhone users who bought their phone before June 2021. In it, he asked if people had a computer, tablet, smart watch, wireless headphones, TV devices and smart speakers, and the results are quite striking.
Of all respondents, 79% of iPhone users have a tablet, and of them 84% have an iPad. Something similar happens with the Apple Watch: 48% of users choose it over other brands. However, figures such as those of the Mac stand out, because although 90% of iPhone users have a computer, only 41% of them have a MacSomething similar happening with products such as Apple TV, AirPods or HomePod, the latter being the least demanded.
