A new One Piece game has just been announced with One Piece Odysseya JRPG from Bandai Namco celebrating the 25th anniversary of anime and manga, coming sometime this year to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
One Piece Odyssey is a Bandai Namco production with an original story by Eiichiro Oda, who created the story and designed the characters more than three years ago, according to his message at the beginning of the trailer. According to Eiichiro Oda, he found the game’s graphics so good that he felt like he was watching a movie.

The trailer confirmed that One Piece Odyssey belongs to the RPG genre, in addition to showing the visual style it uses, with a look that adapts the character design to the third dimension very well. The trailer shows us half a dozen locations and some interactions between the main characters from the anime and manga.
The One Piece Odyssey trailer confirms that Monkey D. Luffy will be the protagonist of the game, but we will be able to see the rest of the crew with a very good visual style, as well as very expressive animations for Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp and Nico Robin. The enemies were also designed by Eiichiro Oda and the trailer introduces us to some bosses and crew powers.

One Piece Odyssey is the game based on One Piece with the longest development time, so it could be the most ambitious experience. The trailer shows a very good visual style, so we hope that the gameplay is up to the task for both One Piece fans and casual gamers to enjoy.
