Written by Christos Gage and illustrated by Marc Borstel, Nyx’s solo series aims to explore the half-demon, half-human heritage of Vampirella’s ancient foe.
Nyx, the old nemesis of Vampirella and your occasional enemy, you will receive your own series of Dynamite Entertainment this November.
Written by Christos Gage (Superior Spider-Man, Batman / Fortnite: Zero Point) the series of Nyx delves into the mindset of the daughter of Chaos the Mad god, evil lord of most of Vampirella’s enemies. The possibility of a happy life for Nyx, her relationship with her father, as well as her attitude towards her human emotions and Vampirella will be major themes in the series.
Are they doing good things for bad reasons? Gage asked about Nyx. Are you struggling to overcome your inherent nature? Not sure? If handled properly, I think readers can relate to someone who makes mistakes or bad decisions more than someone who always gets it right..
In 1996 he debuted Strange Days Coming on Revenge by Vampirella # 23. Nyx was created by Thomas Sniegoski and Ed mcguinness. Half human and half demon, Nyx has the ability to transform into a life force sucking flame form and was primed from childhood to hate humanity. Over the years he has regularly faced Vampirella, going so far as to kill her at the conclusion of Vampirella: Death & Destruction # 3. Over the course of the series Vampirella 2019 From the writer Christopher Priest, the character developed more empathy with Vampirella while exploring her human side.
Gage is accompanied in Nyx the cartoonist Marc borstel (Weapon X, Lady death), the colorist Jordi Escuin and the cartoonist Taylor esposito. The first issue will be accompanied by multiple variant covers of Fernando Dagnino, Geebo Vigonte, Rose besch and Lucio Parrillo.
