According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), this year there will be global inflation of 7.4 percent.
In Mexico, information from the National Consumer Price Index, has registered a general inflation of 8.15 percent.
Starting next Wednesday, August 17, the price of Coca-Cola will suffer another price increase, where, for example, a can of said soft drink will now cost 17 pesos.
At the beginning of this year, everything that the industry reached a moment of recovery and “normality” after the complications that Covid-19 brought with it; however, the month of February would be the beginning of the laughter invasion in the Ukraine, and The world, with this, was impacted by the participation that both countries have in the production of grains and fertilizers.

Undoubtedly, the war between Russia and Ukraine further reduced the availability of raw materials and caused food and energy prices to rise.

According to company data, Coca-Cola FEMSA (KOF) revenues reached 57 thousand 311 million pesos during the second quarter of the yearthis thanks to the increase in prices and, in the same way, to the growth in volume.
Coca-Cola is not alone; LALA will also go up in price
After it was announced that there will be a new increase in the price of Coca-Cola, it was revealed that LALA will also have an increase of 90 cents to 1.90 pesos.
- The bottle of Nutri Whole milk of 2 liters will be priced at 35.90 pesos, an increase of 1.90 pesos compared to its previous cost, which was 34 pesos.
- Lala lactose-free light milk bottle of 1 liter, now, it will cost 24.40 pesos, 90 cents more.
- Lala lactose-free milk of 1.5 liters it will cost 32.20 pesos, an increase of 1.40 pesos.
- Lala whole milk of 1 liter will cost 19.40 pesos, 1.40 pesos more.
