Netflix has just introduced an interesting novelty for those who access its vast multimedia streaming platform from Android smartphones, which closely concerns the audio sector.
The novelty is the implementation of high-quality audio. Speaking more in technical terms, it is the implementation of audio streaming according to the Extended HE-AAC (xHE-AAC) codec, which would promise a quality that makes listening pleasant in different environmental contexts. The contents will therefore be characterized by a variable bitrate, which can increase the sound quality if the connection allows it.
The news will automatically arrive on all Android devices updated to at least Android Pie. At the moment, the release of this novelty on the other versions of Netflix is not on the horizon.
