In the world of cheap mobiles, Xiaomi is king. Nobody can compete with them when it comes to value for money – except Realme on certain occasions. And the new Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro, officially presented through an event on-line, are a new proof of it.

These two phones, which they hit the market for 499 and 649 euros, respectively, have a hardware equivalent to high-end in many respects. And, except for the Realme GT 5G, no one can compete with this offer right now.

These are the technical specifications of both the Xiaomi 11T and the Xiaomi 11T Pro:

How are the Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro?

The Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro they do not stand out for their benefits themselves, since most of them we have seen in other phones of the brand. Rather, their value lies in how they manage to bring those technologies common in more expensive phones to a much more affordable price segment.

We talk about technologies like 120W load, the highest we can find in a smartphone commercially available right now. Its real usefulness is limited, since most people tend to charge their mobile at night. However, having it there can save us from more than one hurry – for example, if you have to go on a trip in a short time and you do not have enough battery left in the phone. In the case of the Xiaomi 11T, the load is 67 watts, a less surprising figure but higher than many high-end mobiles.

We also find first-rate processors in these mobiles, especially in the Pro model, which comes with a Snapdragon 888, the same one used by OnePlus, Samsung and Xiaomi itself in their most advanced phones. The standard model has a MediaTek chip, also quite advanced, although somewhat inferior in certain respects to the Snapdragon 888. The brand, yes, insists on its confidence in this chip and its performance, which should be more than enough for most users.

In the photographic section, both the Xiaomi 11T and the Xiaomi 11T Pro arrive with a 108 megapixel sensor, a wide angle and a telemacro. In this aspect it is perhaps where the differences with the most advanced mobiles in the sector are most noticeable. The set is capable of capturing good images, but, in the most demanding situations, the differences with mobiles like the iPhone 12 or the Galaxy S21 Ultra emerge. However, I think the biggest criticism in this regard is probably the resolution of the telemacro, which stays at 5 megapixels, and the absence of an optical image stabilization system on the main sensor.

The screen, despite not reaching the QHD + resolution of high-end models, offers quite good image quality. It is AMOLED, it has 120 Hz, the calibration is more than correct … Considering the range to which this product belongs, nothing can be objected to. And the same could be said of the exterior design of the Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro. It won’t turn heads when you take it out on the street, but it feels solid and comfortable in the hand.

When will they go on sale? What price will they have?

The two phones can be purchased from September 23. The prices of the lower storage variants are 499 euros for the Xiaomi 11T and 649 euros for the Xiaomi 11T Pro.

The brand has also announced a launch promotion whereby customers they can take a My TV P1 32 inch with the purchase of either of the two models. This will be available on all channels, both on-line What offline and will last until October 3. However, in Orange and Movistar it will last until the end of October.
