Mission launches the LX Connect, an advanced mini HiFi system with wireless powered speakers
Mission has announced the arrival to its catalog of sound equipment of an interesting new generation model that boasts of offering a completely wireless system, if we except the power cables, of course.
Is he LX Connect, and combines the functionalities of an integrated sound system in the purest mini system style with the capabilities of LX-2 MkII wireless speakers, both working together without the need for cables to send or receive the audio signal.

The team is therefore made up of a central hub that acts as a player and hub for sound sources, responsible for sending the wireless signal to the LX-2 MkII speakers through a dedicated interface that works on the 5.8 GHz band.
The hub, with the appearance of a compact 55x235x231mm multimedia player and a large screen that occupies almost the entire front panel, is responsible for picking up the sound through an asynchronous USB port, sound input S / PDIF coaxial and optical, HDMI, RCA analog auxiliary or directly via Bluetooth 5, being compatible with the formats aptX HD, aptX LL, aptX, AAC and SBC.
It has WiFi connectivity so that we can control the equipment from a mobile application and mount a high-end DAC based on the ES9018K2M chip from the Sabre32 Reference range that is compatible with files PCM up to 32-bit / 384kHz over USB and up to 24-bit / 192kHz through the optical and coaxial digital inputs. It is also compatible with the DSD256 format for those looking for the highest quality in their recordings.
In addition, pre-amplified RCA audio outputs They can be used to connect more powerful amplifiers or even powered speakers or a subwoofer if we wish. An audiophile grade front headphone output is also included.
As for the speakers, they are of the shelf monitor type and can be placed at distances of up to 20 meters of the sending hub. They are designed in a two-way configuration with the tweeter located at the bottom of the speaker and are mounted inside a Class D amplifier with power of 60 watts RMS and a digital signal processor that allows us to adjust the basic equalization of each of them.
The woofer has a 130mm diameter and has been built with Mission DiaDrive technology, while the tweeter is 25 mm and made with microfiber and neodymium magnets, both achieving a joint frequency response between 58 Hz and 20 KHz with a sound pressure level of 99dB.

The new Mission LX Connect sound system will go on sale in October for a price of around 1,200 euros.
