Many of you will remember that during the month of May of last year, Ubisoft revealed a Tom Clancy’s The Division new title, which this time will be completely free and will presumably be released in 2022 or early 2023 on Xbox, PC and PlayStation. The Free to Play The Division Heartland is a game completely apart from the two numbered installments, presenting a new perspective of the universe in a new location.
For the time being, The Division Heartland details They have been rather scarce, but the leaks provided, mostly by Tom Henderson, have clarified the picture a bit about what this new free installment could offer us. So now, while we wait for Ubisoft to offer us new details in the form of gameplay or a trailer, Henderson himself via TryHardGuieshe has leaked new details of The Division Heartland.
New details of The Division Heartland, the new Free to Play from Ubisoft, are leaked
On the one hand, four new game modes have been leaked: Excursion, Storm, Nightfall and Hunt. In the Excursion game modewhich is a PvE, players will have to prepare for the storm, searching, looting, exploring and surviving against enemy AI with the aim of extraction via helicopter.
referring to Storm game mode (Storm), it seems that it would be the flagship mode of Heartland, also PvE, very similar to extraction, but with a difference, that players will have to fight against other opponents and the AI, while the gas takes over random parts of the terrain around the map.
Leaked gameplay of The Division Heartland and the first details of its modes
night fall (Dusk), is the third mode of The Division Heartland, also objective-based PvE. As in the previous modes, players will have to survive and extract in the Base of Operations. But this mode has an extra difficulty, that to survive, you must first complete various objectives throughout the game (deployment of beacons, tracking of objectives and collection of data from agents). The extraction can only be executed at specific points on the edge of the map, but at nightfall it will not be possible, since the enemies called “Vultures” will have to be survived.
Finally, we find the fourth game mode called Hunt (Hunter), about which there is practically no information, beyond the fact that it is based on PvP. The Division Heartland will feature cross-play and it seems that its development is in its final stages, so it would not be surprising if this new Free to Play from Ubisoft lands on the market later this year.
