Oppo, the well-known Chinese brand of smartphonesannounced this Thursday the official launch of ColorOS 14 in international markets in which it operates. This new version, as expected, is based on Android 14, the latest version of the system released by Google so far. ColorOS 14, for example, bets again on the aquamorphic design languagebut it evolves it with renewed sound effects, a new coloring system – which adapts to the state of the smartphone, the time and the content on the screen – and improvements related to the interaction of the device.
ColorOS 14 also incorporates a new option among the always-on display settings (Always-On) which seeks to raise awareness about climate change and environmental protection. This consists of three sets with five environmental animations each, which evolve throughout the day based on the owner’s travel habits.

One of the most notable functions is Smart Touch, which, based on AI, allows you to select content such as text, images or videos in third-party or system apps. Compressing application data to free memory using ROM Vitalization; optimizing the use of RAM memory through RAM Vitalization; and finding the exact balance between performance and energy consumption with CPU Vitalization.
Finally, ColorOS 14 mounts a smart charging system which adapts the power of the current intelligently to avoid excessive wear of the battery.

“When can I update my Oppo mobile to ColorOS 14?” That is probably the question that all of the brand’s customers are asking themselves right now. And the answer depends on the exact model in question.
Those who have the Oppo Find N2 Flip, the brand’s clamshell folding device, are the most advanced in this race. The brand has confirmed that the final version of ColorOS 14 is now available.
