Fans of retro games should be happy, because in recent years we have seen a resurgence of games with arcade gameplay and this laid the groundwork for the launch of Slipstream, a retro racing game that will arrive this year on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Slipstream is a game developed and published by Ansdor that came to Steam on PC almost four years ago, but is about to launch its final version on consoles on April 7. Slipstream presents a modern take on retro Outrun racing classics, with enhanced gameplay and great nostalgic-style graphics.

Slipstream will arrive on consoles on April 7 at a price of $189 MXN and it is a game made by a single developer, Sandro Luiz de Paula, better known as ansdor. Sandro developed his own game engine by recreating graphical techniques used in racing games from the 80s and 90s, aiming to deliver an authentic arcade experience.
Despite its retro graphics, Slipstream’s gameplay and performance corresponds to that of modern consoles, so you can expect races running at 60 frames per second and smooth gameplay.
