Two big premieres are going to monopolize the screens for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in 2023. One is just around the corner, Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania. And the other one is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3.
This last film will be the end for several characters who say goodbye to their jobs in the MCU and the introduction of new important characterizations for phase 5 that Marvel Studios faces.
Among the most important is Adam Warlock, a role that will be played by Will Poulter. This Marvel character will be very different from the one that appears in the issues of Marvel Comics.
Warlock is an eternal, cosmic entity created by the Enclave. But in the MCU he comes to life thanks to the priestess of Los Soberanos, who is determined to make a perfect being to take revenge on the Guardians of the Galaxy, after what they did to him in the previous feature film.
Therefore, this character will appear as a villain from the outset. And the first official appearance of him, revealed by the people of Empire shows him imposingly in his customary red cape.
In addition, his red suit matches his golden skin, a product of the creation that Los Soberanos made.
When is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 released?
The third installment of this successful saga opens on May 5, 2023. It is only confirmed that this will be the last performance of Drax (Dave Bautista) and it is rumored that it is also the farewell of Rocket (Bradley Cooper).
James Gunn, director of the three tapes, will also say goodbye (or see you later) to Marvel Studios.
