One of the constant claims of the community of orthodox fans and purists of dragon ball is the CGI in the new adventures of Akira Toriyama. Computerized images are not to the liking of a section of anime fans who grew up with the series in the 1990s.
And it is true that those old 2D images that became popular in Dragon Ball Z have something special.
Absolutely all of us who closely follow everything related to Dragon Ball keep in our memories Goku defeating Piccolo, the battle against Nappa and Vegeta, our hero becoming Super Saiyan, Gohan unleashing his fury and so many other situations that occurred in Dragon Ball.
But neither should it be denied that the new images have their points in their favour. The quality in the different scenarios, machinery, transformations and landscapes that were seen in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero They are a sign that we must advance hand in hand with technology.
However, as there is room for everyone, a group of renowned illustrators made a remembrance and put together a poster of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero with the old style of the 90s.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero as if it were the 90s
The Chilean illustrator or fanart Salvamakoto made a composition in which he joined four other art designers related to Dragon Ball and anime in general.
Each one contributed with one of the characters that appear in the poster. Gohan, Piccolo, Pan, Videl, Goku, Milk and Cell are within the design that according to Salvamakoto: “is a collage in homage to a 90’s poster about the Android saga.”
