Augmented reality lenses or glasses have been a discovery so far this year. After the launch, madness and subsequent disappointment of the Apple Vision Pro, its competition is trying to take the lead in this battle. And it was Mark Zuckerberg himself who shared the functions of the Meta x Ray-Ban glasses through his Instagram account.
And these wearable devices are equipped with artificial intelligence, allowing users interact with your environmentprocessing voice commands based on what is seen through them.

In that context, the magnate demonstrated that the augmented reality glasses from Meta and Ray-Ban are capable of offering more than detailed information about historical monumentsin addition to searching for data on the internet using advanced AI functions.
And one of the main characteristics of these glasses is their ability to recognize and/or describe historical places using multimodal artificial intelligence, so that users can obtain information simply by asking about it, without needing to know the name of the place, for example.
In the video, upon encountering an arch in Montana, Zuckerberg asks: “Hey Meta, what is the history of this monument?”. And immediately the glasses respond with the story of the Roosevelt Arch, built in 1903.
Zuckerberg also showed how glasses can adapt their interaction to specific styles requested by the user. In one example, ask that the explanation about the formation of snow is delivered in a caveman styleto which the glasses respond in a creative and educational way.
Furthermore, in the reel he shows us how the glasses are capable of offering functions based on the user's visual contextsuch as determining if there are too many coats in a closet or explaining how the cold affects horses.
Allow live broadcasts on Facebook and Instagram, readings and translations of signs These are other functions that the young businessman highlights. All this with a slim design and a long-lasting battery, which promises up to 36 hours of continuous use.
