Google Stadia news is a little disappointing at the moment, after the announcement of the closure of the two studios dedicated to the exclusives of the platform and the departure of Jade Raymond, the faithful of Stadia will find a little comfort. To show that its service is far from being in difficulty, Google has just committed to add a hundred new games by December 31, 2021.
Google Stadia announces wonderful program for this year
Google Stadia may be done with exclusive games, but that’s far from the many regular additions to the catalog. The service of the Californian giant announced only a few hours ago that a hundred new games will arrive in 2021.
This good news is the result of negotiations with a multitude of video game studios who are all as enthusiastic as the others to integrate the ranks of Google Stadia.
We’re excited to continue bringing exceptional games from some of the best developers to the Stadia Store for our players. Over the coming weeks and months, players can expect to see everything from action-packed RPGs to competitive co-op titles and agile platforms.
In this list of new games, we can find:
- Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition – February 23
- Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut – February 23
- It came from space and ate our brains – March 2
- FIFA 21 – March 17
- Kaze and the Wild Masks – March 26
- Judgment – April 23
This little list is nothing compared to the other games that are going to land in droves throughout the year. Google promises to shine the catalog of its Stadia service with other additions that will be officially announced soon. The company cannot (yet) disclose everything, probably due to agreements that are still being discussed.
The Google Stadia subscription costs € 9.99/month and is offered without obligation. Start your trial period now.
