Interest Drops in Crypto-Themed Home in North Hollywood
A crypto-friendly home in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, is apparently struggling to sellsince the price of the property has dropped three times in just over four months.
The call “Cryptohouse,” as indicated by the bright neon sign in its kitchen, was listed for sale for $1.2 million in October 2022. As of January 5, its asking price is now $949,000.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home has as its property description its spacious, flowing floor plan ideal for “smart investors.”.
For unknown reasons, the description makes no mention of the tasteful wallpaper, which includes multiple non-fungible tokens (NFTs) from the classic Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and CryptoPunk collections, prominently featured in the lounge and dining room.
The house also features themed wallpapers in each of the four rooms, one each for bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and Dogecoin (DOGE), with one room dotted with a selection of crypto-positive tweets..
Those who want to try before they buy can even rent the house through Airbnb. However, there is no rush, because you currently have no future reservations.
Make your personality an NFT and mint your heart on the blockchain
A project is offering NFTs as a way to visually portray an individual’s personality and own the result on the blockchain..
Rubens DB, an artist based in Tel Aviv, released the NFT collection “Psynesthesia”which has 1,024 possible NFTs generated by the results of a personality test.
Polygon-based NFTs are generated based on features identified by the test and an algorithm coded by DB. The process is explained in a statement shared with Cointelegraph:
“For example, the higher the pleasantness, the warmer the colors; the higher the extroversion, the more connections develop.”
The resulting art can be collected as NFTs. The original owner is also granted a photo shoot at Rubens DB’s Tel Aviv studio.where his work of art is projected on him in a portrait.
10% of sales are donated to the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS)a US-based non-profit organization whose goal is to increase awareness of psychedelics.
