Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley and sole heir to the legendary “King of Rock”, died this Thursday, January 12, 2023 in a Los Angeles hospital, according to what his representative confirmed.

“Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie,” says a family statement posted on social media. “They are deeply grateful for everyone’s support, love and prayers, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
Presley had been hospitalized after suffering the heart problem at her home in the city of Calabasas, California, just 48 hours after attending the Golden Globes with her mother, Priscilla Presley.
Indeed, Lisa Marie and Priscilla were at the Golden Globes to see Austin Butler win the award for best lead actor in a drama for his leading role in “Elvis.”
Along with her mother, Lisa Marie had also attended a pre-Golden Globes party where the family honored what would have been Elvis’ 88th birthday.

She was married to Michael Jackson for a couple of years and for a shorter period to actor Nicolas Cage.
Lisa Marie inherited her father’s mansion, Graceland, and all of Elvis Presley’s estate when she turned 25. In 2005, she sold 85 percent of that estate, which she had an estimated value of $100 million when she received it, to Industrial Media, but remained in control of Graceland.
Lisa Marie Presley released her first album as a singer-songwriter, “To Whom It May Concern”, in 2003. She also produced “Now What” years later and her third album, “Storm & Grace”, in 2012.
Lisa Marie’s son, Benjamin Keough (son of musician Danny Keough), passed away in 2020 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
She has a daughter named Riley Keough, and twin girls, Finley and Harper, with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.
