There is little left until August begins, a very special month for movie lovers because it means the beginning of the Lima Film Festival. This event is one of the most important for the cinema Latin American and Latin American, since for several days, people will be able to enjoy interesting stories on the big screen.
This 2023, is the 27th edition of the meeting and 34 films will compete (16 fiction, 11 documentary and 7 made in Peru). “Eureka” by Lisandro Alonso, “Los delinquents” by Rodrigo Moreno, “Memento morí” by Fernando López Cardona, among others are some of the competing films. When does the Lima Film Festival start?
The event will take place from August 10 to 18, during that week people will be able to see the participating films in different rooms that have been selected and are located in different areas of Lima.
How much does the ticket cost to attend the Lima Film Festival?
This year, tickets can be purchased from July 25, through festivaldelima.com and join us. This 2023, people will be able to see the movies in person or virtually, but depending on the option the cost varies.

How many films participate in the Lima Film Festival?
In this edition, 138 films (feature films, medium films and short films) participate, some compete and others do not. People will be able to see the tapes in person and also virtually if they are not in Lima, but somewhere in Peru.
