The technology company presented a look at its new screens during CES 2021, with which it is committed to improving the image and sound experience with artificial intelligence.
With the new A9 processor, the South Korean brand warns that the image quality can be raised on these screens from 4K to 8K, while the sound can also be improved with artificial intelligence technology.
By focusing on elevating the screen experience, Park Hyoung-sei, president of LG Home Entertainment Company, said the brand’s products will try to adapt to the new normal through technology so that activities such as learning at home, teleworking and entertainment are increasingly richer and safer.
Roller phones
While in years past LG took the spotlight at CES for introducing a roll-up display that popped out of a stand, now the brand got its first look at a roll-up phone project.
The smartphone called “LG’s Explorer Project” is a look at how the brand imagines the next smartphones could be and its commitment to a flexible display market that is already valued at $ 6.9 billion and is expected to grow to rate of 28% annually by 2025, becoming a global trend, according to Grand View Research.
In addition to these devices, LG showed through its virtual rooms at CES 2021 improvements to its lines of smart home appliances, such as washing machines, vacuum cleaners, among others.
