Nintendo advances its release date without the need for a Nintendo Direct.
It was in September of last year when Nintendo issued what would be its last Nintendo Direct of the year, taking the opportunity to present the games that would be available in the last quarter and some other surprises for 2022, this being the case we had with Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Bayonetta 3, titles that were announced yet without a clear release date. However, it seems that one of these two has already clarified when it will reach physical and digital stores.
It was a few hours ago when, without any warning, Nintendo has released a new trailer for Kirby and the Forgotten Land, revealing new data for the title along with its release date, which has been set for March 25. In other words, in just two and a half months, Nintendo Switch users will be able to enjoy what is called to be one of the greatest adventures of the pink ball. You can see the trailer below:
It has to be said that this announcement surprises not only because of how unexpected it has been, but because, in addition, many took for granted that the title would be shown in the first Nintendo Direct of 2022, this being one of the three events that do not usually miss their appointment annually except on special occasions (such as 2020 with the pandemic). In this way, it will be necessary to see if in the supposed Nintendo Direct we see something of the new Mario Kart that is playing so much.
On the other hand, entering the matter now, the trailer has revealed various details such as that Kirby will have new transformations, in addition to the Nintendo Switch title It will have a cooperative mode in which we will control Bandana Dee. In the same way, it seems that the objective of the game will be save the characters of Dreamland after they have been captured, everyone waiting at the end of each level.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is coming at the end of March
In the same way, it can be verified that the game will not be open world, although it will have broader levels than the saga has us used to. Also, it seems that there will be a central area where to carry out various activities.
Having said all this, it only remains to say that Kirby and the Forgotten Land will launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch on March 25. We will have to wait to see if they give us a new advance in a future Nintendo Direct or if, on the contrary, Nintendo already gives the game as presented with this announcement.
