First it was Prince Harry who ended up giving up the royal family and we know that between him and Kate there was a relationship of brothers. Not for nothing the prince himself said that Kate was the sister he never had.
The first setback for Kate happened after the Megxit was uncovered and a few weeks ago the divorce of Queen Elizabeth II’s grandson, Peter Phillips, and his wife, the Canadian Autumn Phillips, who was apparently closer to Kate than you thought.
The true reasons that led the couple to make this decision are still unknown, but many say they meet the requirements of the Windsor divorces: with much scandal. However, here the difference is that Autumn is a very discreet young woman and close to the English sovereign, which ensures that the main cause will not be fully known.
Now two important pillars of Kate whom he trusted is gone. Journalist Angela Mollard declared that Autumn was really “very good friend” of Kate and that Prince William’s wife is “devastated to lose another important ally ” to her.
The members of the royal family are always asked for a lot of discretion, there is a lot of pressure to take care of every word they say. They know that every thing they comment is going to filter, so their talks should always be very superficial, they have to speak in a generic way all the time and taking care not to share data of their daily lives.
“For Kate, talking freely with someone like Autumn is incredibly valuable” since they are both young mothers with very similar stories, so they were great confidants.
” Being in the royal family must sometimes be incredibly lonely, having allies is very important,” Angela said.
It should be remembered that at Peter and Autumn’s wedding at Windsor Castle in 2008, Kate attended still single and was the first public event of the royal family in which she was seen as one of them. Even William couldn’t go, since he had another wedding in Kenya so the couple split up. Since then they have been very close and this loss for Kate is a second hard setback in less than two months.
