A new adventure for the Blanquirroja. The Peruvian team arrived this Friday in the city of Amsterdam (Netherlands), the first of two stops on the trip to Asia, to measure forces with South Korea (06/16) and Japan (06/20), as part of the preparation with with a view to the beginning of the qualifying process towards the World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada in 2026.
In that line, first thing in the morning, Andy Polo was called off by the technical command headed by Professor Juan Reynoso, after ending a nuisance after the match between Universitario de Deportes and Independiente Santa Fe for the Copa Sudamericana. For this reason, the national team decided to make an emergency call: that of Christopher Olivares.
The Municipal player will join the delegation, with the slogan of joining the rest of the squad of the Peruvian selection. “La Bicolor complies with informing the call of the Deportivo Municipal soccer player, Christopher Olivares, for the friendlies against South Korea and Japan”supported the message that the FPF shared on its social networks and other official platforms.
Peru’s agenda in South Korea
The works of the Peruvian team will be held at Goyang Stadium (Goyan, South Korea) until Wednesday, June 14. A day later, they will move to the Nongshim Hotel, located in Busan. That day, the press conference will be at 6:00 pm (at 4:00 am in Peru), while the training will be at 8:00 pm (at 6:00 am in Peru) at Busan Asiad Main Stadium, precisely at the time of the match against the World Cup team in Qatar 2022.
The first stage of the Asian tour will close on Friday, June 16, when Peru faces the Korean team at 8:00 pm (at 6:00 am in Peru).
