Great news for the entire World of Warships: Legends gaming community, Wargaming, publisher and developer of the free-to-play naval multiplayer game World of Warships, is bringing a new variety of Tier III-VII Italian battleships in the first update of 2022.
Something that seems quite curious to us is that, Azur Lane returns due to its popularity among players, a new five-week campaign is rewarding the battleship Brandenburg and emerging for the first time in World of Warships, the cross play between the divisions of Xbox and PlayStation they will be flanked by solo player vs. player mode within ranked battles.
The Italian Fleet disembarks in the Legendary Port
Starting the update, a new line of Italian battleships will be introduced with five ships from Tier III Dante Alighieri to Tier VII Vittorio Veneto. Tier III-VI ships are available in Early Access through two varieties of dedicated crates, and the Tier VII ship Vittorio Veneto will be available at the start of the next update.
Azur Lane is back for a third wave!
Azur Lane is back for a third collaboration in World of Warship Legends, bringing an extensive roster of Commanders to the game. Six new officers, based on characters from Azur Lane, join the ranks. This includes Littorio from the Sardegna Empire, Aurora from the Northern Parliament, an Eagle Union officer, and three officers from the Sakura Empire.
This reinforcement marks an important moment for World of Warships: Legends, as the number of Commanders now exceeds 100. Alongside these new officers come corresponding ships: the cruiser USN Montpelier, the Japanese destroyer Yukikaze, and the Soviet cruiser Aurora; they all make their way into the game with colorful permanent camos and bringing new modes to the game.
Cross Play now available in Divisions
Cross play is introduced in the game mode in divisions; an important feature that allows up to three PlayStation and Xbox players to go into battle together. This feature also includes the addition of a cross-platform friends list.
