Grand Touring 7 is the latest in Sony’s series of racing sims, arriving this month on PS4 and PlayStation 5 exclusively. Although the gameplay and graphics of the game have satisfied the fans, the permanent internet connection and microtransactions they don’t like them, so they won’t take too well that Polyphony Digital has reduced the rewards you get in races.
Since its launch, the microtransactions of Gran Turismo 7 have been heavily criticized, as the prices of the cars increased by up to ten times compared to the price of the Gran Turismo Sport DLC cars. While in GT Sport the cars were priced at $4 dollars, in Gran Turismo 7 you need to spend up to $40 dollars in microtransactions for the same car.

Despite the criticism received by the Gran Turismo 7 microtransactionsSony decided to lower the rewards you get from in-game races, supposedly to combat players using certain races as credit farms for in-game currency.
Unfortunately, this “measure” only makes it more difficult to obtain the cars in the game without resorting to spending real money on microtransactions, since now you need to play longer to get the necessary credits. It is clear that the intention of Sony and Polyphony Digital is to make impatient players opt to spend on microtransactions, which does not make Gran Turismo 7 fans happy.
