It comes in sheets, it melts and it’s really delicious – obviously, made only on a plant basis. The moment that many were waiting for has arrived, the day to present the most requested product by the NotCo community: NotCheese. Foodtech NotCo has done it again. Through science and combinations they have managed to create flavors of products derived from meat and milk, but without having anything of animal origin.
The technology behind this cheese that is not cheese
Throughout the history of foodtech, the idea of bringing a Plant-Based cheese to market has captivated audiences to the core, and today, thanks to NotCo’s proprietary artificial intelligence, Giuseppe, along with the squad, are making this long-awaited wish come true. With some ingredients such as coconut butter, tapioca starch, pea protein and turmeric, it is already possible to offer an exquisite NotCheese.
“This new launch is in line with building our NotCo purpose that seeks to reduce environmental impact, but is also in tune with the needs of our consumers. Your opinions and preferences allow us to continue improving our products and serve as a guide to see what other categories we can implement, said Matías Muchnick, founder and CEO of NotCo.
“We have adapted and positioned ourselves within the best brands thanks to that and we are very happy with this launch, without a doubt one of the most important milestones for NotCo”, he added.
All Not
This new category of NotCheese will be available in more than one version: Buttery and Cheddar, two delicious varieties perfect for eating in a rich sandwich with NotBurger (Why Not?), or, preparing the best dishes and surprising fans of this classic food, which maintains the best of this delight such as the smell, texture and flavor.
It is worth noting that NotCheese joins the acclaimed NotCo product portfolio made up of NotMilk, NotBurger, NotIceCream, NotMayo, NotMeat Molida and NotChicken. For now, NotCheese will only be sold in the Chilean market, exclusively in Jumbo supermarkets and NotCo’s own e-commerce. But watch out! Soon they might try these NotThings.
