Ion mobile, which also offers mobile service through numerous local brands, is now diving into its first offering for families who need three or four mobile lines, and it does so through a new shared bonus, which includes a total of 110 GB to consume between all lines.
As a less common perk, we found that Ion mobile’s new shared bonus is available for mobile-only users, unlike what happens in most competitors, where to be able to access better prices on additional mobile lines it is necessary to have an internet connection contracted at home.
Three lines with 110 GB in total for 38.25 euros
The requirements to access the shared Ion mobile voucher is to contract at least three mobile lines with an Unlimited Basic rate under the same owner, which represent a starting price of 38.25 euros for the complete offer, and allow you to add an additional line for 8.75 euros.
That is, they are 8.75 euros for each mobile line with unlimited minutes and an additional 12 euros for a single 110 GB bonus from which all lines will be fed. On average, each line would have 37 GB for 12.75 euros in the case of three members, or 27.5 GB for 11.75 euros.
Thus, Ion mobile responds to a type of family rates that we have seen in MVNOs with Yoigo coverage such as mobilfree, Oceans or Jiayu, in Vodafone yu or in Digame under Orange coverage. The conditions of these operators for three mobile lines and shared data are as detailed in the table:
Rate | Prices | Coverage | |
---|---|---|---|
Tell me | 3 unlimited min lines | 29.80 euros / month | Orange |
Mobilfree | 3 unlimited min lines | 35 euros / month | Yoigo |
Ion mobile | 3 unlimited min lines | 38.25 euros / month | Movistar |
Vodafone | 3 unlimited min lines | 40 euros / month | Vodafone |
In addition, Ion mobile has once again extended the contracting of its As bonds, which allows adding up to double gigs for an additional 1 euro, allowing up to 120 GB for 20.75 euros, 70 GB for 16.75 euros, or 25 GB for 12.75 euros. These are the cheapest rates available under Movistar coverage, and its main low-price rival is Xenet, under Orange coverage.
The complete offer of Ion mobile rates valid from October 2021 It is as detailed in the following image:
