Recently, the Major League Soccer (MLS) soccer team has published several vacancies on its LinkedIn account and you are about to fulfill functions in its marketing department.
All these announcements surprised, since they come after the signing of Argentine Lionel Messi, which in terms of marketing implies a great bet for David Beckham’s team, where according to specialists, the sponsorship value of Inter Miami is expected to increase fivefold.
The club is already beginning to register this growth on its social networks, where only on Instagram has it seen an exceptional increase in its followers after the announcement, where they currently went from having the modest number of one million followers, to reaching 6.5 million. .
A clear example of the marketing benefits that the Argentine will bring to the American team is that in terms of sponsorship, the arrival of Messi to his former team Paris Saint Germain, brought with it more than ten sponsorship offers from brands such as Dior, GOAT , PlayBetR, etc., which later became contracts between 6 and 8 million.
Likewise, the sale of the soccer player’s shirts will also be great income for the club, since the Argentine’s arrival in Paris meant, managing to match the profits of the same medium from 20/21 in barely half the season.
