Instagram does not rush with one of the most frequent demands of its users!
After back and forth regarding the possibility of a version of Instagram for iPad, the CEO of the company, Adam Mosseri, has given a final verdict. During an event this weekend, Mosseri addressed the continuing lack of an iPad app, and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be resolved anytime soon.
From the CEO’s point of view, the reasons why the outstanding debt of the application with those who use the iPad, has not yet been updated. Although for users they may not be enough.
The native version of Instagram for iPad is still pending
In answer to the simple question »Where is the Instagram application for iPad?», Mosseri explained:
“I spent a bit of time on an iPad because I was on a flight, but I didn’t have an iPad app for Instagram yet. It would be nice to do it, but there’s a lot to do and only a limited number of people, so you haven’t done the court”.
Currently, users are forced to choose between enjoy the app on the web or in iPhone applications. He even announced earlier this year that users can now post to the social network from the web, which he had left open so that it would soon happen on Apple’s tablet … but they were just false hopes.
Of course, as has already been discovered in the beta versions and finally all users will check it from tomorrow at the official launch, a change in iPadOS 15 makes using Instagram and other iPhone-only applications on your iPad a little less frustrating. With iPadOS 15, iPhone-only apps can now run in landscape mode, and the expanded iPhone app maintains its vertical layout.
