Other sectors, components of the IMAI, which also had contractions, in their monthly comparison, were mining (-0.8%), generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, water and gas supply through pipelines to the final consumer (-0.5% ) and Manufacturing Industries fell 0.1%.

In the annual comparison, Industrial Production (IP) during June 2021 increased 13.6% compared to June 2020, in real terms. It should be remembered that in June 2020 IP grew 17.9% compared to May of that same year, after the first gradual reopening of economic activities. Similarly, in June 2020, Industrial Production actually had a variation of -17.5%, compared to the same month in 2019.
By sectors of economic activity, manufacturing industries were higher by 16.3%; construction by 15.5%,%), generation, transmission and distribution of electric power, supply of water and gas through pipelines to the final consumer grew 7.2% and mining increased 5.2% compared to June 2020.
