Here are two states that will make the payment this week:
Alaska
The state will award $3,284 as part of the state Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD), which will arrive on Thursday, August 24 for some residents, whose applications were tagged “eligible-unpaid” on August 9. - 2021 adjusted gross income was $150,000 or less for married joint filers; or $75,000 or less for all other taxpayers.

Note: this payment is not taxable on your Minnesota income tax return and will not be taken away to pay any outstanding taxes or debts we collect for other agencies.
