What was not specified is whether the incorporation of Bane would occur through any of the films that are planned to be released, or in a series that will be in development.
In 2022 the DCEU has planned three premieres, Black Adam, The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, although these productions have not revealed if Bane will be part of their respective stories.
A series that will arrive in 2022 is The Peacemaker, a spin-off of The Suicide Squad, with John Cena in the title role, but James Gunn, creator and director of the series, has not given clues about it.
Bane’s story in cartoons and the big screen
Bane made his debut in the special issue Batman: Vengance of Bane # 1, published in 1993. Born in the Peña Duro Prison, located in Santa Prisca, Bane spends his childhood in this prison, where he is clear that he must end the figure representing Batman, which tortured him night after night.
Bane’s most prominent passages have been in the acclaimed 1993 Knightfall, as well as in the Rebirth stage sagas I Am Bane and Bane City, both written by Tom King.
In the cinema, Bane has two appearances, the first in 1997, in the film Batman and Robin, played by the wrestler Robert Swenson, where he portrayed a villain without a brain, in one of the several failures of the Joel Schumacher film.
In 2012, actor Tom Hardy achieved the best performance of Bane, where the villain manages to exhaust and defeat Batman to continue the purpose of The League of Shadows and wage war against the rich and corrupt, who have Gotham submerged. City in misery.
