Windows 11 is now available for download. Microsoft announced that its rollout would begin on October 5, and it has been, in fine print. In New Zealand it’s already day 5 in the morning, so the launch has started globally.
Even so, what Microsoft has insisted that the landing of the new operating system will be gradual, which means that even if we meet the demanding minimum requirements that the company has established, it can take a long time to see Windows 11 landing on our computer.

How to upgrade to Windows 11 from Windows 10 (or try)
Microsoft stated that they expected the upgrade to Windows 11 would have been offered to all compatible teams by mid-year 2022. A date for which there are still more than eight months.
If you are still one of the users who wants to try their luck (both to see if it reaches you and to be almost early adopter system), we tell you how to do it with these steps.
- Go to Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows update
- Search for updates
If you are one of the lucky people and the upgrade to Windows 11 is offered to you, you will see something similar to the following image. You will have to click on the blue “Download and install” button. From there, you have to follow the installation steps.
