It’s been a few years since the Motorola Moto G mobile appeared on the market. At the time it was a mobile quite ahead of its time and had several characteristics that made it highly desirable. Among them was its Android operating system called Jellybean.
Many found it quite comfortable to use, but many others opted to change it to a version of Android called AndroidLollipop, which is very understandable. On the other hand, there was a small negative aspect in the Moto G. As with many Android phones, this phone came with a lot of factory-installed applications.

Before starting the root process of your Moto G
Rooting a mobile for the first time can be quite an enlightening experience. But, keep in mind that it is a very delicate process to carry out. For this reason, you will have to take certain forecasts or take certain things into account before you can start with everything. Among what you need is the following:
- Start by having your mobile with a high charge. Although it is preferable that the mobile is at 100% capacity in terms of its battery, you can do it with at least 50% if your mobile has the battery in perfect condition and you can even try various tricks to charge your mobile more quickly. Rooting your Moto G
Once you have taken all the necessary precautions, you can start with the simple process of rooting your Moto G.
- Through your file explorer, be it ES File Explorer or any other, find the TowelRoot APK and run it.
- Once you do, you will see that the app will open on your screen. All you have to do now is select the “MakeIt ra1n” button to root.
- Now, once the on-screen process is overhead over to the Google Play Store and download an application called SuperSU.
- Now, you must restart your Moto G in order to complete all the changes you have made. From this moment you will have your Moto G mobile fully rooted
