Due to several requests made to Bullfrag via comments in the different social networks in which we participate, today I wanted to rescue this trick for the Google Web browser with which we are going to increase the speed of Chrome either in its desktop version for personal computers or in its version for Android.
As I say, the trick is not that it is new, but that we already published it right here in Bullfrag some time ago thanks to my colleague Manuel Ramirez to whom we must give all the deserved merit since I have only taken his notes and I have materialized it in the video attached to the header of this post so that you can all see how to run it in Chrome for Android.
How to increase the speed of Chrome, Google’s web browser
As Manuel Ramirez told you in his day, to increase the speed of Google Chrome, all you have to do is click on the browser’s address bar and paste this line:
- chrome://flags/# max-tiles-for-interest-area
Just by pasting this line and clicking on enter, a page of advanced options or experimental options of Google Chrome will appear in which we will have to look for the option:
- Maximum number of tiles in the area of interest
This option by default is marked as default, and what we are going to do is set it to 512 by default to provide it with more RAM resources and consequently a higher execution speed. As I tell you in the video in the header of this article, this trick is recommended for terminals with a minimum of 2 Gb RAM, for terminals with 1 Gb of RAM you can test that this configuration works for you and in case of Chrome malfunction or performance leave it at 256 or the option that best suits your Android terminal.
Finally, just by clicking on the button to restart Chrome now , the changes will be applied and we will have a faster Chrome browser.
