Plants vs Undead is one of the NFT games that is gaining more popularity in recent days, this game is characterized by providing its players with attractive earnings in their PVU token for performing different activities within the game. Lately, the game has gone through some changes and we are about to start farming 2.5 mode, where many of the rules have changed and in this guide we will show you how you can be a gardener in Plants vs Undead and generate rewards for yourself.
What is the goal of the gardener mode in Plants vs Undead?
With the release of farming 2.5, several tasks come for those players who develop the role of gardeners within the game. The main goal of gardeners will be grow your own plants and benefit from them, this through the purchase of special seeds called Sunflower Mama and Sunflower Sapling, the first ones that we mention have a cost of 200 LE (the currency used within the game) and a production of 850 LE every 144 hours, once after that time, the plant dies and you can claim the reward.
Sunflower Sapling have a production of 250 LE in 72 hours of life, after that time this plant also stops producing LE and must be removed from the ground to plant another.
It should be taken into account that in the case of the Sunflower Mama and the Sunflower Sapling you need to buy a flowerpot small to start production.
What is needed to be able to enter as a gardener in Plants vs Undead?
To do the work of gardener you need to have some elements that you can buy in the Shop in farming mode of the game, these elements are:
- 1 pack of Water (Cost 50 LE)
- 1 Scarecrow Pack (Cost LE 20)
- 1 Sunflower mama (Cost 200 LE)
- 1 Small Pot (Cost 50LE)
With these elements that have a cost of 320 LE you will be able to sow your first Sunflower Mama and after 6 days you will be obtaining 850 LE, as a result of having sown that seed, representing 530 LE of gain, which you can use to buy the Sunflower Mama again and this time you will also have money to buy some Sunflower Sapling, which will give you 250 LE in 72 hours so you can expand your planting of temporary plants.
What are the tasks for gardeners in Plants vs. Undead?
Gardeners will have to take care of their own plants with the aforementioned implements, also starting on September 12, with the launch of Farming 2.5 all players included gardeners must water the “Tree of the World”, a new element included in the farming mode which will give those who do at least 20 daily irrigations, different rewards among them, water packs, scarecrows, Surprise boxes, Sunflower Sapling and there is even a 1% chance of obtaining a seed of NFT totally free just for doing your watering during the first week.
Irrigation mechanics
The irrigation mechanics for your own plants is simple, all plants require 2 waterings every 24 hoursIf a plant runs out of water, its production will stop until its life cycle is over or the gardener adds the corresponding water.
Scare crows
Another element to take into account are the crows, they appear randomly every two hours and can perch on some of your plants. For this reason you should pay attention and constantly check your crops, since if a crow visits a plant, it will stop its production of LE until you remove the crow with a scarecrow or it just retires, for which it will take at least 6 hours.
How gardener work rewards are handled in Plants vs Undead
All the rewards that the players receive within the game are represented in LE, this is the currency used for purchases within the farming mode, for every 100 LE we have the equivalent to the value of 1 PVU, which is the token that Plants vs Undead uses and through its purchase is that we can enter the game. The price of this token varies depending on the market and we can consult its price in real time by accessing this link.
The LE you accumulate by sowing and harvesting plants or through the different rewards for the daily missions in Farm 2.5 will accumulate in your player profile.
Are there any action limits within the gardener mode of Plants vs Undead?
Gardeners will only be able to water their plants twice every 24 hours, no more watering than that is allowed. During the first week of farming 2.5, all the risks you want to the world tree, but the minimum to be able to obtain the rewards is 20 risks.
Another limitation that has been implemented by the developers of Plants vs Undead is that if you want to withdraw your LE by converting them to PVU and be able to have them in your virtual wallet or in the wallet that you have connected to the game, you must have at least one NFT plant. However, even having this plant, the relationship to remove your LE will be 300LE = 1 PVUIn addition, you can only make 3 withdrawals per month.
If instead, you have two NFT plants on your property, you can withdraw as many times as you want to your wallet and with a ratio of 100 LE = 1 PVU, in both cases the system charges a commission of 0.05% of gas discounted directly from your PVUs and depending on the wallet you use, you will also be charged a gas per transaction.
Between being a farmer or a gardener, which is better and more profitable for the user?
Each of the roles have their advantages and different profitability, since both must make an investment of money to be able to begin to see their profits and the return of their investment.
In the case of gardeners, must make a minimum investment of 5 PVU In order to enter the game, with this they will be able to start producing LE by renting temporary plants, which they must keep free of crows and constantly placing water so that production does not stop. With this minimal investment, the return can be appreciated after 6 days, assuming that to begin with, 320 LE were spent to plant a Sunflower Mama and this produced 530 LE of profit, which is the same 5.3 PVU.
However, in order to withdraw these PVUs at a fair ratio (100LE = 1 PVU) the gardener must have at least 2 NFT plants on his land, so recovering the investment will take longer, as you will need to buy two NFT plant seeds or collect 100 Sunflower Sapling seeds to exchange for a first NFT seed and continue to collect for the second NFT plant.
So in terms of profitability, it is still profitable, but it will take longer for you to withdraw your winnings from the game, unless you inject more PVU into your account and are able to purchase an NFT seed from scratch, which would already make you a farmer.
To be a farmer within Plants vs Undead, the process is different, since you will have to make a purchase of an NFT seed or an NFT plant directly in the game marketplace and from the moment that the plant will passively begin to produce LE
The amount of LE that it produces will depend on the type and rarity of the plant that you have obtained, but you will also have to carry out 2 daily waterings, keep it free of crows and take into account the more than 20 weather events presented in the world of Plants vs. Undead, which affect LE production in NFT plants.
The investment that these farmers must make exceeds 120 PVU, which is the value of the most economical plant on the market, however, the LE production of a plant of this type is around 120 LE daily or 1.2 PVU per day. With which we can say that in approximately three months this farmer will have recovered his investment and will begin to enjoy his earnings from owning a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) within Plants vs Undead.
