Airport operators in Mexico
The construction and management of airports in Mexico is carried out by several operators. Four of them are private in nature: the Centro Norte Airport Group (OMA), the Pacific Airport Group (GAP), the Sureste Airport Group (ASUR) and the Mexico City Airport Group (AICM). These companies play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the country’s airport infrastructure.
In addition to private operators, the Airport Services Administration (ASA) is a federal entity that manages a total of 18 airports in various regions of Mexico.
The 3 most important international airports in Mexico

2. Mexico City International Airport (AICM). 2,836,000 tourists arrived at this airport, 3.8% more compared to the period January to August 2022. Located in the Venustiano Carranza delegation, the Mexico City International Airport, commonly known as the Benito Juárez Airport. It has two terminals from which both national and international flights are made.
