Halo is undoubtedly the flagship series of Xbox, which has been with us for a long period of time in all kinds of media, from the first video games and graphic novels to a series to be released soon. In the past week, Halo co-creator shared amazing images of a prototype built in 2000, a version prior to its final release occurred on PC. The images are really nostalgic.
Through its official count On Twitter, Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto shared a series of images and videos from the first betas of the title, where you can see various objects known to fans. While it’s no surprise that Lehto shares that kind of content, it’s always interesting to see how the first ideas of the great and solid game that is now Halo were born.

A controversial feature will be present in the multiplayer of Halo Infinite
As we can see in the images, the first prototypes of Covenant weapons are shown, such as the “Microwave gun” for example. Marcus comments next to the images how fun it would have been to include them in the original game. Together, we can see the first game models of the Human and Covenant, along with the spear “Spear Gun” and the almost naked Elite model.
In the same way, the concept art of the game at that time is shown, whose design it was included in the final design of the back of the master chief. Some beautiful images that will undoubtedly make every Halo fan want to see them and return to that nostalgic time, when one of the most important sagas in the world of video games today, was just beginning to take its first steps.
